Kelly Seramin Travel traces back to two trips, decades apart.

The first was Sweden & Denmark at 10 years old, traveling with my soccer team to one of the world's largest youth tournaments, sleeping on classroom floors next to kids from 20 other countries whose lives looked nothing like mine. I came home understanding — in the way only a 10-year-old can — that the best part of leaving home is the new perspective you bring back to it. The second was my honeymoon in South Africa: two weeks that reset my whole bar for what travel could feel like, and I haven't stopped chasing that feeling for clients since.

In between came the skills that turn a great idea into a great trip. A decade running entertainment and tech PR — with high-profile clients, complex rollouts, and zero margin for error, built the muscle for managing complicated logistics with the kind of poise the trip itself should have. A background in interior design trained my eye for places that are as visually considered as they are well run. The result is a way of planning that's part strategy, part design studio, part well-connected friend.

That's the idea Kelly Seramin Travel is built on: every great trip is the product of intention. No template itineraries, no copy-paste recommendations, nothing chosen just because it's trending. Every stay and experience is selected deliberately, drawing on places I've been, partners I trust, and properties I've vetted myself. Sometimes the right answer is the most-talked-about hotel in the city. Sometimes it's a 12-room place nobody's heard of yet. The common thread is always intention.

That's what luxury means now. Not thread count.
